WyoAg Coalition

Working to build healthy, sustainable systems that connect Wyoming’s producers, processors, and consumers

The WyoAg Coalition is a group of individuals and organizations that are being formed as a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote healthy local food systems, encourage sustainable agriculture best practices, and enhance opportunities for producers, processors, and consumers through advocacy, legal defense, the support of candidates, and lobbying.

Here are issues and organizations that I am currently involved in and supporting:

KidsFIRST:24/7 is a childcare cooperative consortium that is being organized by, and for, hard working parents. It  will be a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing and encouraging quality, affordable, childcare—governed by parents, elected from the membership, who serve as a Board of Directors—who will collaborate with employers,  childcare providers, agencies, and other organizations to address the challenges of making sure our kids have the best care possible.

WyoLEARN is an alliance of organizations from around Wyoming that are focused on one thing—ensuring the best possible education for Wyoming’s children. We believe that all children matter, and that parents need every possible tool and option that we can provide in order to make the best decisions about where and how each individual child is educated. We believe that choice and competition, working hand-in-hand with systemic reform within traditional public schools to ensure rigorous standards, relevant testing, and accountability on all levels—has the best chance of creating an environment where every child thrives.
